SSC Napoli is preparing for significant squad changes as Philip Billing, Noah Okafor, and Simone Scuffet will depart the club following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. Each player, primarily on loan, contributed to Napoli’s campaign but will not continue with the club next season.

Philip Billing: Solid Midfield Presence with 10 Serie A Appearances

Philip Billing joined Napoli on loan from Bournemouth in January 2025. During his stint, Billing made 10 Serie A appearances, scoring 1 goal. His most notable contribution was a decisive goal against Inter Milan, showcasing his ability to impact important matches despite limited minutes. Billing played a total of 189 minutes in Serie A for Napoli, primarily as a central midfielder. Despite his efforts, Napoli decided not to activate the €10 million buy option, signaling a shift in midfield plans for the 2025/26 season.


Noah Okafor: Talented Winger Limited by Injuries

Noah Okafor arrived on loan from AC Milan with a €23.5 million purchase option. Injuries hampered his ability to consistently contribute, but he managed to show glimpses of his attacking prowess when fit. Okafor made 19 appearances across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. Napoli has opted not to exercise the buy clause, leaving the door open for new attacking reinforcements.


Simone Scuffet: Backup Goalkeeper with Limited Impact
